This setup takes ~7 minutes. Follow the steps below to properly connect your AgentOS with your Notion workspace.

1. Point Notion Agent At Your The Instruction Page

Essential 1st Step:

‼️ Because of the limitations of Notion Marketplace, when you get this template it will automatically set the top-level page as instructions – which is not the right page.

You should always point the agent to AgentOS Master System Instructions for it to work properly.

There are 2 ways to do it

• [ ] Method 1: Personalize your Notion AI by clicking on Nosy and selecting ‘personalize’

  • [ ] Give Your Agent A Name - we love ‘S(ai)mon’!
  • [ ] Select AgentOS Master System Instructions as its Profile by clicking on the ‘…’ menu and selecting ‘Use existing page’

• [ ] Method 2: Head over to AgentOS Master System Instructions and click the 3 dots in the upper right corner

  • [ ] Then click “Use with AI” and “Use as AI instruction”

2. Connect your databases

Important: The databases table below is sitting inside of a synced block that's also used in the main instructions for the Agent OS (AgentOS Master System Instructions). This table specifies the databases the Agent OS will use to modify and add pages into.

You can connect as many databases as you want - just add a new row to the table. However, it works best with one database per target. If you have multiple databases for the same purpose (e.g., two task databases), either:

• Point to a single primary database, or
• Create separate targets with different names (e.g., "Team Tasks" and "Personal Tasks") so the Agent knows where to add pages

If you don’t have a database related to a given context, just leave the row blank.

3. Add additional context

AgentOS does a good job of searching through your databases when answering, but you cane make it even more aware of your context by filling out the synced block below.
